Nancy Goodman Brinker, Goodwill Ambassador for Cancer Control

Ambassador Nancy G. Brinker was appointed Goodwill Ambassador for Cancer Control in May 2009. Ambassador Brinker's role is to support WHO's efforts in promoting cancer control on the global health and development agenda, promote resource mobilization for cancer control, and to support national efforts in developing cancer plans and programmes and improving services for cancer patients.
