Global Fund related activities

The World Health Organization provides technical guidance to applicant countries of the Global Fund in the areas of HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, and Health systems strengthening (HSS).

Global Fund will launch Round 11

Round 11 Call for Proposals is now open, with a submission date of no earlier than 1 March 2012. The Board made an important decision at its 24th Board Meeting on 26 September 2011 relating to Round 11 proposals, Second Wave of National Strategy Applications and funding requests through the Health Systems Funding Platform. Due to uncertainties in the amount of financing which is expected to be available to fund this Round, the Board has agreed to delay the closing date for Round 11 proposals,
