Children in the poorest 20% urban households are at least twice as likely to die as children in the richest 20% urban households in all four regions shown

Note: These results represent averages of those countries for which urban Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) data were available for under-five mortality during 2000–2011 (Africa=31 countries, Europe=3 countries, Americas=8 countries, Asia=14 countries). As such, they are not representative of the regions as a whole.
