HGN Expert Advisory Panel

The Expert Advisory Panels were established by the World Health Organization to respond to the need for adequate representation of the various branches of knowledge, diversified forms of local experience, and trends of thought prevailing in various parts of the world. WHO's Human Genetics Expert Advisory Panel (EAP) is made up of members who provide technical guidance and support on programme objectives, goals and priority areas of HGN through their expertise in the area of human genetics and related sciences. The Expert Advisory Panel comprises of practising clinical geneticists and established medical practitioners and academics in the related fields of community health, bioethics and child health from countries such as Australia, Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, India, Iran, Israel, Japan, Nigeria, Switzerland, Russia, South Africa, Thailand, USA and UK.
