Kenya: A family's hope is renewed

WHO/Evelyn Hockstein

Alex Odhiambo, 32, is a tea picker and was diagnosed with AIDS in September 2006. He is a patient at Mosoriot, a clinic in rural Kenya where 3500 people infected with HIV receive care. The clinic is now using an electronic system for maintaining medical records. This system has revolutionised the way the clinic can work with people, by maintaining up-to-date, accurate information about every single patient.
