Soviet doctors, close to the worker: Russian Federation, 1968

In 1968, Monique Jacot went on a photographic assignment to the former Soviet Union. Visiting what is now the Russian Federation, she photographed subjects including nutrition, urbanization, profiles of healthcare professionals, and occupational health conditions. Ms Jacot's photographs were published in a special issue of the World Health magazine in March 1969 entitled Health, Labour and Productivity.
