FIOCRUZ Centre for Global Health (CRIS) has been designated as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Global Health and South-South Cooperation
CRIS is responsible for implementing the global health agenda from Fiocruz and has been designated as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Global Health and South-South cooperation with the mandate to:
1) Support the implementation of the “Rio Political Declaration on Social Determinants of Health”
2) Support the ePORTUGUESe Programme
3) Strengthen the National Institutes of Health from Portuguese-speaking countries
It has na initial mandate of four years.
Discussion Group HIFA-pt
It is a discussion forum in Portuguese that brings together more than 2000 members from several countries, including the eight Portuguese-speaking countries.
HIFA-pt was launched in November 2009 in Maputo, Mozambique, to integrate health professionals, policy-makers, managers, librarians and information professionals in a broad discussion network connected to the HIFA2015 group.
HIFA2015 (Healthcare Information for All by 2015) is a global campaign and knowledge network in English with over 5000 members in 150 countries. It was created in 2006 by the Global Healthcare Information Network, to promote access to health information for those who need it. HIFA-pt is part of the ePORTUGUÊSe network
