Viral load testing procurement scheme
Procurement is possible on a case-by-case basis for Viral Load equipment and reagents. In addition, maintenance of the equipment and efficient training of technicians are crucial elements to ensure quality testing. Technical assistance is available in order to assist WHO member states with their choice of technology.
Starter kits
Available to laboratories wishing to set up for first time performance of Viral Load testing.
May include equipment, reagents, controls, installation and training and a maintenance contract.
Reagent kits
Available to laboratories with existing Viral Load equipment.
Consists of reagents and controls.
