Fifth Global Meeting of Heads of WHO Country Offices with the Director-General and Regional Directors

Heads of WHO Country Offices (HWCOs) will meet with the Director General and Regional Directors in Geneva from 2-5 November, for a policy dialogue on strengthening WHO's support to national health development strategies and plans; preparation and response to public health emergencies and humanitarian emergen-cies; and the financial and economic crisis.
Meeting Format
The meeting will be a three-day policy dialogue consisting of plenary sessions, briefing sessions and group work with senior management interaction. The lunchtime sessions consist technical briefings on key issues of concern to all countries.
