Mission

The Country Focus Department (CCO) advocates for, facilitates and assesses the implementation of the renewed WHO Country Focus. This Country Focus gears to tailor WHO's technical collaboration to the needs and capacities of each member state, with a special emphasis on the poorest countries and fragile contexts. The nature of CCO's work, is that of a facilitator, broker and catalyst. The Department works in permanent dialogue with all regional and country offices.
