In developing countries where health systems and health policy are constantly evolving, there is a great need to publish informative research. However, there are few avenues to do so due to, among others, inexperienced or untrained researchers, topics that are out of the scope of current, mainstream journals, limited funding, etc.
Southern Med Review provides a platform for researchers to disseminate commentary and empirical research findings, with a view to improving the rational use of and access to essential medicines.
The Southern Med Review is an open access, peer reviewed journal and provides an alternative for emerging researchers to publish their material in a supportive environment.
The Southern Med Review is published quarterly every year in Auckland, New Zealand.
